ABC Kids Expo

Experience interactive learning with the ABC Kids Expo, held October 18-21 in Las Vegas, Nevada. As part of the international showcase, this event in Miami will mirror the actual event. The venue will feature the virtual reality show component being held in Las Vegas, and will be designed exactly like the venue in Las Vegas with three themed sections representing over 65 countries in a variety of exhibits, sales reps and companies geared toward offering connectivity, educational conferences and innovative solutions.

Large advertising displays from sponsorship companies will direct traffic to each section, complete with tutorials on cultures and customs from each of the international country participants. A children’s fashion show will occur both days, displaying new styles and trends in kids wear. Shoe companies will also be on hand to display their selections, with free measuring available.

Attracting a diverse audience of teachers and education professionals, this two-day venue will highlight innovative concepts in learning, offer workshops on teaching fundamentals and integrating technology into the classroom, explore new inventions in kids products, and provide a chance for the media to get an up close and personal look at the items displayed at the venue in Las Vegas.

Huge rotating screens will display new products being featured, with food, drinks and a live fashion show. Sponsors will host special sections to display their products, while there will be VIP areas for an interactive look at some of the more advanced technological products on the market. This show will mirror that of a conference, designed to bring people together who understand the need for technological innovations in learning.

Some of the areas that will be highlighted include baby land, innovative tech toys, learning centers for educational innovation, and new products. Day two of the venue is open to expectant mothers, mothers with small children and the distributors of infant clothing and products. This section will host workshops on infant care and ways to expose children to technology at a young age. Individuals in this area will be able to meet the inventors of baby products and ask questions about their products and services.

A trade-based event, tickets start at $150 per person, and a badge is required. Single day passes are also available at $75. All attendees will receive a lanyard, id badge and tote bag to “shop” among the many vendors and sponsor organizations of this affair.

Microsoft’s CITA Show

Take mobile development to a new level with the Microsoft CTIA Super Mobility Event held in Las Vegas on September 9-11, 2015. This event will mirror the CTIA event in a partnership with Microsoft to decorate the venue like one big computer showroom. Interactive sections will highlight all the new innovations being introduced that will reshape mobile technology and its direction. With large screen televisions, attendees will experience this three-day event in real time, with all speakers being shown on the screens.

Sponsored by the CTIA – The Wireless Association, this event will welcome local mobile device providers and vendors with a host of activities, including get togethers, workshops, and an opportunity to exchange ideas and information. With workshops being simultaneously broadcasted on the big screen televisions in each section, attendees will be able to interactively ask questions and participate in the discussions taking place in Las Vegas.

Day three will culminate in a huge party, complete with food, drinks and artists for fun and relaxation. Major sponsors will host giveaways and contests throughout the three-day event, with samples of their latest innovative devices on display. Manufacturers will also have specialized booths around the venue where attendees can see the newest offerings about the hit the market, and attend workshops on how to improve their customer base.

CTIA – The Wireless Association is an international nonprofit membership organization representing the wireless communications industry since 1984. The Dick’s Sporting Goods Hood to Coast Relay

Enhance your competitive spirit with the Dick’s Sporting Goods Hood to Coast Relay taking place on August 28-29, 2015. This 198-mile relay is in its 33rd year, welcoming runners and walkers from all over the world. This event welcomes local and national residents, and runners/walkers who are headed to Oregon for this special occasion. This event will simulate a track among the mountains, complete with bays for pit stops to drink water and eat food. A mini relay race to mirror the actual event. Participants can either use the actual track built around the venue and keep track of their miles, or utilize the digital simulators all throughout the venue. Sponsors and vendors alike will be able to display their products.

Workshops will be held around the venue on walking, running and how to stay healthy. There will be demonstrations on different types of shoes, what they do and how they can assist. Nighttime safety will also be offered as a workshop for those individuals who like to run or walk in the early morning hours or late in the evening.

“Teams” will be allowed to compete for prizes upon completion of certain milestones. Celebrity performers will be in attendance, as well as national runners who will be available to take pictures and discuss how running has changed their lives. This will be a two-day themed event to commemorate those who are walking or running in the main race. Vendors will be on hand selling shoes, clothing and other accessories for running and walking. Participants and attendees will be able to purchase clothing to participate in the event onsite.

Tickets for this multi-day event start at $200, which includes a t-shirt, digital tracking device to measure how many miles you have walked, access to all the sections of the event, and an autographed picture with a celebrity. Pictures with the celebrities will be an additional cost,

The annual Hood To Coast Relay takes place annually in late August, usually on the Friday and Saturday prior to Labor Day and is one of the largest and longest relays in the world. The Hood to Coast Race Series partners with a number of charities, including the American Lung Association, Historical Outreach Foundation, Boys and Girls Club, and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. There are a number of additional races under the Hood to Coast series, including the Hippie Chicks Race Perks, Helvetia Race Perks, Red, White & Blues Race Perks, Crawfish Crawl Race Perks, Pints to Pasta Race Perks and the Turkey Trot Race Perks.

Miami Broward Carnival

Feel the rhythm of the night during the Miami Broward Carnival held on October 11, 2015. Presented by Miami Broward One, Columbus Day in Miami will never be the same! This will be a special VIP event for sponsors, celebrities and performers who are all in town to celebrate Carnival Miami. The venue will be decorated like a huge Caribbean carnival, complete with a children’s area, indoor Ferris wheel, a parade, and lots of music, food and drinks. This venue will feature sections themed like a masquerade, with each section featuring a mask. Hosts and hostesses will be outfitted in costumes and traditional garb from the Caribbean nations.

Local and national Caribbean performers will be in attendance, and each sponsor will have a booth where their choice of food will be available. All foods will mirror authentic Caribbean dishes. During the event, a music truck will enter and play music for everyone to dance to. Special appearances by the Carnival King and Queen, Junior Carnival and Miss Miami Broward with attendees having an opportunity to take pictures with them.

The entire event will be filled with many reasons to have fun! Created as an extension of Miami Broward Carnival, this venue will allow participants to see another side of Miami. A smaller version of the famous Jouvert will take place the day before, open to the general public in an outside venue. Subaru’s Down & Dirty Obstacle Race

Muddy, challenging and fun! Subaru joins all three elements together in the Down & Dirty Obstacle Race this year on July 26, 2015 in Warminster, PA. Part of a marketing push for Subaru, this event consists of giveaways, three and six-mile simulation races, VIP gifts and more. This event will feature Subaru and the theme of the event, complete with an outdoor component that has a mud mat for challenges, with the inside venue decorated like a full day obstacle course. Hosts and hostesses will be dressed like members of a drill team, and each sponsor will have their own “team” for food, drinks and VIP areas. Celebrities and musical personalities will perform at the venue representing each sponsor.

A huge screen will show the event on live television, giving attendees a chance to experience the real event while going through a reality simulation. Vendors will have their items on display, and Subaru will have a fleet of their vehicles on hand for participants to test drive and find out more information. A few real race car drivers will be on hand to teach small interactive lessons on safe driving.

A traveling event, the down and dirty race will have over 20 military obstacles, which will all be highlighted at this event. On the outside of this venue there will also be an inflatable car wash for individuals and children using the mud mat to run through to get clean. A full day challenge, this will feature the latest and greatest from Subaru, with official merchandise sold at the event. Some of the obstacles include the Heavy Hoist, Jim’s Jungle Gym, Monster Climb, Colossus Climb, Mud Pits, Slippery Mountain, Rock Wall, Balance Beams, Military Walls, Marine Hurdles, Monkey Cross and Low Crawl.

Tickets for this event will start at $50, with VIP access passes an additional $20 that includes pictures with the race car drivers. Part of Subaru’s national marketing events, this party in Miami is one of several that will take place over the course of the year. Miami’s race will return in 2016.

The Subaru Down & Dirty Obstacle Race was designed to provide a fun way to give back. This event supports Operation Gratitude, sending care packages to individual active Military, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Warriors and their caregivers. Each race, Subaru hopes to raise money to contribute toward the yearly goal of $75,000.
