Custom cars, music, live art, models, photos, and social media–Nurotag is the event to see and be “scene” in. As the first of its kind in car showcases, Nurotag features the hottest in custom design, live entertainment, local artists, and the next evolution in social media interaction. South Florida’s premiere event will be held on September 29th, 2012 in Soho Studios at the Wynwood Convention Center.
With hundreds of custom creations (including Import, Euro, JDM, Luxury, Sports, Classic, and Exotic) on display, those in attendance will vote for their favorite-featured vehicles via an innovative implementation of social media. The audience will be the determining voice for the winning cars by tweeting and instagram-ing the individual car’s identifying hashtag (#). The online interaction will go on for one day, at the end of which, the most mentioned hashtags will determine the winner of the showcase. Show winners will be announced through the Nurotag webpage on Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012.
Guests will also enjoy the best in live and local entertainment as Nurotag is set to highlight Miami bred graffiti artists and DJs. Artists will create live art with the direction of participating social media fans while the hip-hop beats spin throughout the event. Nurotag strives to reach international heights through its social media interactions while also spotlighting the cultural diversity of Miami.
Nurotag is presented by State of Stance, Hard-Parked, and Dorbyworks with sponsorships from ADV.1 Wheels, Wheels Boutique, Velos Designwerks, Bag Riders, Redbull and Sunglass Hut. All presenters and sponsors will be on site promoting their brand through vendor booths featuring their respective products and special giveaway prizes–including the raffle of an original custom Honda Ruckus by Dorbyworks!
Abel Garcia, one of the producers of the famed Gold Rush Rally, returns to his hometown of Miami to launch the Nurotag series. “I was raised in Miami, I live breathe, and die Miami. Miami is founded on people from different origins and nationalities that all came here to create new empires. That’s what Nurotag is about–a new culture of Cars, Music, and Art.”
